With continuous improvement of performance of digital signal processing platform, how to upload mass processing results to PC in real time is a question that must be solved in the design of system. Taking the development of xxx positioning system and imaging sonar system for background, this paper aims at resolving the problem of uploading data to PC in real time during the development of the two systems. Because both of the two systems adopt TI's high performance fixed-point digital signal processor (TMS320C6416) as main processor or coprocessor, USB and Ethernet are chosen as their communication link respectively according to every system's characteristics.Main work for development of USB interface includes hardware design of USB interface, USB firmware compiling, USB driver and mainframe application compiling.Two schemes for development of network interface are designed: realization of hardware TCP/IP protocol stack and realization of software TCP/IP protocol stack. Design of peripheral circuit for network interface chip (W5300) and compiling of the control programe are the main work of the first scheme. The second scheme includes design of peripheral circuit for network interface chip (DM9000A), transplant of embedded operating system (μC/OS-II), transplant of LwIP protocol and DM9000A driver compiling.According to repeated testing results, the interfaces above basically meet requirements. They are applied to the projects successfully and the desired goals are achieved.
