The celestial navigation attaches importance to the navies all over the world because that its targets observed are stars never be destroyed by human beings. Also and it has advantage tactics by means of concealment, safeness and strong vital force. It is signification for our weapon taking its advantage when the celestial navigation system is being used at the time of disturbance of electric and magnetic waves from the enemy.The deadliness of celestial navigation is that it can not realize any its original functions when there is light fog in the sky, therefore the celestial navigation can not used at any time and any weather conditions. So, the visible light celestial navigation is not really suitable in the future. This thesis line out the concept of radio celestial navigation after a deep thought in the development of the celestial navigation past and nowadays. I think it is important to spread the spectrum of light from the star for the celestial navigation. And we can get a fast independent position in a high precision at any time and any weather conditions even under the strong electromagnetic wave disturbance.The process of the thesis is as follow. First of all, it gives us some descriptions of the background of the radio celestial navigation and the related research work what we should do for this study. Secondly, it introduces the concept of the radio, also gives us some explanations of the physical characteristics of radio, as well as the observation equipment--radio telescope. Then the thesis combines the basal principle of celestial navigation, have built one kind of radio astronomy-based celestial navigation method. With the time of the system provides, this method forecasts the current navigation star. And according to forecasting result with the radio telescope,we collect the radio signal which acquired on the celestial body. By handling the information we can obtain planet image. After geting the celestial body elevating angle , the angle of position with measuring the angle device,we can calculate the ship's position; One kind of higher direct accuracy calculation and the filter have been adopted in ship's position calculated; Finally, the thesis has analysed the accuracy of navigation method. And it has handled the main part of error sources what would affect the accuracy, just as axis department, coder and atmosphere reflection. Also it has built the error sources amendment models. So we get good effect by simulating at last.
