The Study On The Fire Alerting System Basing Upon LonWorks Field-bus

Fire alerting system is a main part of the modern Building Automation System, and it is always a main problem in fire protection field. With the development and application of many industry field-buses, many types of fire alerting system basing upon field-buses are attracting more and more attention. The LonWorks is a field-bus which is firstly used in fire alerting field in USA. For its Object-Orient Method, it can drive any peripheral equipment by virtual driving way, without connecting with the peripheral equipment directly. Therefore, it meets requirements of fire alerting field very much. Recently, more and more fire alerting products on LonWorks bus are produced.In the paper, aiming at an office building of a petroleum Corp., a new type of fire alerting system basing upon LonWorks field-bus is designed. Following items are done:1. After discussing and analyzing some general field-buses, the LonWorks is studied in detail, and the basic principle and the usage of field-bus in fire alerting system is mastered.2. After analyzing the basic structure of the fire alerting system, Referring to national criterion on buildings, the LonWorks is adopted to design an intelligent fire alerting system of an office building of a petroleum Corp. And its holistic project is brought out.3. The intelligent node is a very important unit in the LonWorks field-bus, and it is charged with collecting information, monitoring the system, controlling fire alerting link-device. Here, according to different control requirements of any node, MAX186 and MSP430F149 chips are used respectively to design two types of intelligent nodes.4. Aiming at the electric-magic disturbance factors on the system, some methods on hardware or software are introduced to overcome these disturbances.
