With the rapid development of computer simulation technology, the scale of simulation become very large more and more, it is important to solve the problem of promoting performance of large scale simulation. The distributed simulation system, based on HLA, emphasizes the interoperability and reusability of the simulation applications. But it is not fit to large scale simulation. With the extend of simulation scale, the problem of load balance, dynamic assigning resource, and the efficiency of model computing is exposed by and by. The grid technology becomes an important network information technology, which can settle the problems of fully sharing and interactive applying among different kinds of resources in dynamic multi-institution virtual organization. The users of grid can access all kinds of resources, and they have not to know the position of resources.Firstly, the deficiencies of HLA are analysed. In order to solve these deficiencies, a new simulation grid architecture(named SOA-DSGA) based on CGSP and HLA is promoted and designed using grid technology and Web service technology. It can promote the dynamic distribution ability and reusability of the simulation resources by encapsulating them into standard grid service. In addition, the structure of RTI is analyzed and designed, and it can combine with SOA-DSGA very well. In the structure, HLA sevice group is divided into six grid service. Federates can push simulation through invoking grid service.Secondly, the method of building CGSP and work principle of CGSP are introduced. The method of deploying simulation service and flow of execution are provided. The framework of portal is also provided. At last, the advantage of SOA-DSGA is validated through a simple experiment.
