Combining with the coast-ship bistatic radar, the problems of synchronization and phase calibration are studied in this dissertation. The technology of Synthetic Impulse and Aperture (SIAR) is used. Due to the receiving station is on moving platform, there is no direct communication link between its receiving and transmitting station, so it is a type of non-cooperative multi-static radar.Firstly, the principle and waveform design are introduced simply, and what follows is the method of time synchronization based on direct wave. Synchronization signals of transmitting impulse and frequency modulation are extracted by incoherent integration and spectrum analysis toward direct wave. Then the errors and accuracy of synchronization are analysed. Furthermore, the phase calibration is discussed. Using direct wave, the original phase can be get by signal processing, which can be used to compensate the target echo. Experimental results and data processing are conducted to show the validity of these algorithms.
