Since the development of electronic warfare, main threats of radar includes electronic counter measure, anti-radiation missile, invisible weapon and low-level strike are. Facing to the main threats, viability of normal SAR (synthetic aperture radar) will be threatened. In order to improve viability of normal SAR, the new type SAR should be developed. The bistatic SAR has properties of anti-jamming and anti-strike because transmitter and receiver are separated mutually.Based on bistatic SAR, this dissertation analyzes geometric relation, system parameters, imaging algorithm, system synchronization, imaging principle in detail. According to the theory of complex system distributed simulation, the bistatic SAR distributed simulation architecture is proposed. The main content is summarized as follows:1. Based on air-air bistatic SAR model, the system parameters are analyzed which are azimuth resolution, range resolution, pulse repetition. According to geometric property, the target echo model is derived.2. According to monostatic range-doppler imaging algorithm, the bistiatic range-doppler algorithm is derived. The algorithm defect and advantage are analyzed.3. In synchronization of bistatic SAR, three synchronization problems are analyzed. Several time synchronization methods are analyzed in air-air bistatic SAR system. According to requirements for space synchronization, the limit condition of antenna is proposed. In system which uses high stable oscillator to achieve phase synchronization, a method which analyzes the influence of oscillator noise on the system by using root mean square is proposed. According to point target response under noise condition, a method to choose frequency in practical application is provided. With the influence of random motion errors on bistatic SAR, a method to analyze root mean square resolution is proposed.4. In terms of bistatic SAR simulation, a distributed simulation architecture is proposed based on properties of bistatic SAR. According to properties of every simulation module, a layer pattern of implementing bistatic SAR simulation system is proposed. The module is divided into four layers: network, radar system, user interface, application. According to features of every module, a pipeline distributed framework is proposed based on HLA. This framework is efficient and accuracy.5. According to features of bistatic SAR distributed simulation framework, a parallel simulation algorithm of target echo is proposed based on independent superstition buffer. This algorithm can avoid time overhead because of data synchronization. The pipeline parallel algorithm of range compressing, range migration correction and azimuth compressing is proposed based on operation independence. According to independence of every range bin data, a parallel algorithm of azimuth compressing is provided.The main innovation of this paper is summarized as follows:1. In system which uses high stable oscillator to achieve phase synchronization, a method which analyzes the influence of oscillator noise on the system by using root mean square is proposed.2. With the influence of random motion errors on bistatic SAR, a method to analyze root mean square resolution is proposed.3. According to features of bistaic SAR and HLA, a distributed pipeline simulation architecture based on HLA is proposed.4. According to features of bistatic SAR distributed simulation framework and echoed signal, a parallel simulation algorithm of target echo is proposed based on independent superstition buffer.5. Based on operation independence, the pipeline parallel algorithm of range compressing, range migration correction and azimuth compressing is proposed.
