Modeling and simulation of virtual football player's header shooting is concentrative embodiment of virtual human technology and sports biomechanics method, and involves in the computer graphics, virtual reality, artificial intelligence and so on, at home and abroad in this regard is still rare research.In the paper header shooting and path planning of virtual football player is researched from the importance of action in the football matches. Firstly, based on sports biomechanics, the dynamics method for modeling of virtual football player is researched, header technology is analyzed deeply and the skeleton model of virtual football player is improved. Secondly, head shooting is decompounded bending the knees, jumping, bending backward, leaning forward, hitting and falling to the ground and a football player rigid body is generated, dynamics modeling of the rigid body is generated by the universal principles of dynamics method, the simulative experiment is done by using skeleton model and the results prove the feasibility of the algorithm. Lastly, Genetic Algorithm is used in path planning of virtual football player, individual coding is improved and fitness function is considered by security radius, collision avoidance and dynamic shortest path, the best path is educed by use of selection, crossover and mutation genetic operators, the simulative experiment is done and the results prove the effectiveness of the algorithm.
