| Nowadays,in the era of Information, Computer Networking has become the powerful motive force in the process of social and economic development. It is significant to improve student information management level by Network technique. At the same time,with the deepening of educational reform of our country and the issued expanding enrollment policy, the number of enrolled students of Universities is increasing rapidly. How to increase the utilization rate and normative management, reasonable statistic and fast search have become the carry focus students' information management department and even the focus of the whole college. In the actual university educational supervisory work, it will be able to raise the school enducational management level and the work efficiency greatly, by gathering, transfaring, storing, processing, maintaining, and using the information of student to regulate the university educational administration and that will come with a higher standard of university student informationmanagement. Therefore, we have designed the student's information management system.The actual situation of university educational administration work has been analyzed. we have made the plan,the data flow chart and the data dictionary of student information management system. Comparing various foundations above, we also studied and constructed the functional module of student information management system, realizing the code design of it. The work which is finished by the article is as follows:1.Analyzes the present condition of student management and the contructive target to the future of higher vocational institute, discussing meaning of developingstudents' information management system.2.Analyzes technique characteristics of C/S mode and B/S mode, and puts forward the software configuring system which takes B/S mode according to InterNet system characteristics of higher vocational institute and makes use of stored procedure and trigger to raise handling efficiency.3.Makes a comprehensive research on .NET technologe and discusses methods to access database by ADO.NET and to implement certification and authorization by ASP.NET.4.Carries out data exchange design by XML technique, and forms a standard data exchange platform to make system more open-up and extensible .In the background database management, elaborating how to spread, move, statistics analysis about data5.Puts forward homologous solution to safe mechanism and performance optimization of InterNet environment.6.Designs a foundation information user-defined model and a report user-defined model according to students work controller's actual requirement, which is convenient to students work controller to manage foundation information data and to print a report by oneself.Student information management system is the task which is carried out on basis of the needs of student management, the actual needs of information resources to be shared and the real need when developing the operation. Its ultimate aim is to make student information management realize computerization, wholly Network, information-based and standardization. Through the student information management system, we can make all college students'information transmits normally in LAN and improve the management quality. In addition, we can make full use of the campus Network to make some useful information in one school, even through the InterNet,realize the data flow and utilization which actually highlights the significant role that Network play. The system will mainly complete the followed functions: Student Basic Information Management; Class Information Management; Checking Attendance Management; Punishment Information Management; Commendation Information Management; Daily Management; Comprehensive Evaluation Management; Apartment Management; Subsidizing Management; Quality Development Management and so on. The followings are specific contents.1. System Maintenance:System Maintenance is made up of authority maintenance, password maintenance, code maintenance, operating log, system backup, system initialization and system help, etc.2. Student Basic InformationStudent basic information management is one of the most essential and important links. In order to guarantee the whole student basic information integrality and consistency, student basic information data base makes full use of the existed data from the Educational Administration Management System of Chang Chun University. Therefore, the two systems will transmit data through data converting interface to register the student basic information.3. Class InformationClass information is the essential unit of student work management, which consists of all kinds of student basic information. Only the office workers which deal with the job of student, can check up the total student quantities of each class or the quantities of boys and girls, add or cancel some student information and make an operation when there is the abnormal case with student information. The above-mentioned information will appear automatically.4. Punishment Information ManagementThis part is made up of punishment information maintenance and checking statistical analysis function, etc. It can check and find out the punishment information according to the student number, name, academic year, year, gender, college, grade and many combination terms and also output the information. It can also make statistical classifications and print the result, according to the checking information mentioned above.5. Checking Attendance InformationThe teachers need to check attendance for every course and fill out the monitor's daily list. The student daily working manager of the department will register the attendance information according to the diary so that student working ministry, all the colleges and masters can check the student attendance easily. At the same time, they will punish some corresponding students who break the law, according to the"Student Handbook".6. Commendation Information ManagementThis module mainly realize the information-based office working Network with all kinds of scholarships, grants and the student with excellent work.
