With the development and popularization of computer science and technology, particularly with the broad application of computer in the national economy, software, as a soul of computer, is widely used in social life, especially in the modern enterprise. To reduce costs, fast implementation of design and development in enterprise application, J2EE platform technology provides a component-based implementation approach for design, development, integration and deployment in enterprise application. J2EE platform provides a multi-level distributed application design pattern, the ability of reusing components, a unified security model and flexible transaction control. The solution of platform-independent, J2EE-based components will enable the development of products not binding in any Manufacturers'products and APIs.This paper is based on FET SSI-III (FarEasTone Store Service Integration Phase-III) system which is cooperatively developed by Shanghai Hewlett-Packard Co., Ltd. Chongqing Branch, Taiwan HP and Taiwan Telecom FarEasTone. Through using J2EE technology, SSI-III system based on J2EE platform is designed and developed. It is an extension of the original system SSI-II, and implemented the system application integrationFirstly, this paper introduced the complexity of business systems in Telecom, analyzed enterprise application integration situation in China and abroad, pointed out the significance of this research, proposed an enterprise application solution with a high degree of customization, which based on the combination of actual situation.Second, this paper analyzed the key technologies of J2EE Framework, introduced a useful Web application framework Struts, pointed out the structure and principle of Struts. Also, it discussed two common ways of enterprise application integration: Web services and Middleware technologies, Moreover, it solved how to choose the appropriate technologies and tools to build enterprise platform, with the combination of actual enterprise situation.Third, SSI-III system was analyzed and designed, including system objective, functions, and architecture. Moreover, this paper implemented the application of Struts to the development of SSI-III, focusing on how to make SSI-III achieve the Struts MVC model, and discussing its components how to work together, so that it validated the application of Struts framework can achieve rapid development of stable and extensive enterprise application. In the application integration of SSI-III, with the combination of real situation of telecom operators, proposed a way of system integration with other systems by using Middleware, XML and URL, which was based on a certain degree extension of integration core technologies. System application integration was well designed and implemented, and gained good effects.At last, this paper analyzed several important aspects should be considered in building system for enterprises, attained a systematic assessment of SSI-III, summed up the research works and pointed out the further research work.
