Radio frequency identification technology is gradually moving towards a mature automatic identification technology from the beginning of the 1980s. Compared with other automatic identification technologies, RFID technology gradually become one of the most popular technologies in automatic identification technology, because of unique contactless, anti-interference capability and so on, which widely is used in various fields. The integrity of the data transmission has been the focus of RFID systems, and multi-card identification is the main problem. With the extension and development of radio frequency identification technology, the security issue is paid attention to gradually, identity authentication is the first barrier for the securety of RFID systems and it is important to RFID systems. This thesis summaries about RFID systems such as characteristics, development, and existing problems, researches and compares the most popular RFID international protocols, analyzes the operational principle. Research focuses on anti-collision algorithm and authentication protocol in RFID technology. For the problem of multi-card identification, the thesis mainly study anti-collision algorithms, focusing on the base of Time Division Multiple Access, including frame slot ALOHA algorithm, dynamic framed slotted ALOHA, and enhanced dynamic framed slotted ALOHA, which also based on ALOHA algorithm, in the thesis, it carries out analysis and simulation for every algorithm. In order to improving the efficiency of identification, this thesis analyzes and researches a fast detection and reading ALOHA anti-collision algorithm, and carries out analysis and simulations for the new algorithm. According to analyzing and contrasting algorithms which based on ALOHA anti-collision algorithm, the results indicates that FDRA has a clear advantage in the area of efficiency of identification. To prevent the potential risk and enhance the consumer privacy, this thesis first completely outlines the framework of security and privacy problems about RFID. This thesis presents and classifies threats and security requirements, in this thesis it analyses RFID authentication protocol which based on Hash from the three parties, including security, storage space and computing capacity, and points out the advantages and disadvantages of them. Then this article analyzes and researches a new authentication protocol based on Hash. After comparison and analysis, the result indicates that the new protocol superiors to other authentication protocols in security, with a good prospect.
