Pulse current generator has a wider application prospects because of its high voltage, intense current, strong pulse, and other characteristics in the high-voltage electrical experiment. The energy storage of the pluse current generator is generally achieved through high-voltage DC power supply. How to realize the charge system reliably and acquisit the discharge waveform becomes the research task.This thesis has mainly studied the pulse current generator's charge and discharge, introduces a solution of designing a pluse current generator system architecture based on PLC, and implements the system by Kingview for the remote monitoring teminal. The main work of this paper is as follows:Firstly, it outlines the application characteristics of the pulse current generator in the high-voltage electrical occasions, analyses the domestic and foreign research development trend, and illustrates a solution of the pulse current generator control system based on PLC.Secondly, it focuses on designing the hardware of the pulse current generator system and summarizes the functions of the part of the control and collection. The hardware system is made up of four modules including the pulse current generator charge module, pulse current generator discharge module, discharge acquisition module as well as PLC control module. In addition, it elaborates the basic principles and circuit design of the modules and achieves the optoelectronic isolation transmission, AC-DC convertion, high-voltage charge, metal sphere gap discharge as well as discharge waveform gathering.Finally, it programes the software of the remote operation, PLC control, and discharge acquisition which is achieved by the development of Kingview, design of the PLC control procedures and LabVIEW acquisition interface. Furthermore, it analyses the various parts of working principle, shows the process flow chart, the remote surveillance view and part of the procedure code, and realizes the PLC external driver, inalterable current charge, over-voltage protection, over-current protection and under-voltage protection. It also displays the discharge acquisition waveforms.
