Research Of Blog Intelligence Retrieval System Based On Semantic Web And Web Mining

With the development of Internet and WWW technology, Web-based application systems come into being. Blog is one of these systems. Blog can provider users to publish their web pages as posts. Because of using the RSS technique, the communication of Blog is more easy and flexible than that of Email and discussion group. Nowadays, Blog has been a popular communication net tool for the families, companies, departments and teams.Semantic Web, an extension of the current web, is viewed as the next generation of web technology which aims at that the information on the Web can be understood by machine and be processed automatically, so that humans can communicate with the machines better. To implement the information interoperation on the semantic level, a common understanding of the information is needed. As for this, the semantic Web adopts Ontology. Web Mining is the extraction of interesting and potentially useful patterns and implicit information from Web artifacts or Web activities using Data Mining technology. It is the integration of Data Mining technology and Web technology.Applying the Semantic Web and Web Mining technology into Blog posts of the fields of computer professionals, a system called BIRS that is Blog Intelligence Retrieval System is designed in this thesis. This system realizes not only the general query function but also semantic query for Blog posts.The major contributions of the thesis are as follows:(1) Firstly,the function of BIRS system is analyzed , then pointing to its framework model and detailed function module.(2) W3C standard OWL is choosed as the Ontology description language, and constructing a Ontology library of the fields of computer professionals.(3) Based on the Ontology library that has been constructed, RDF/RDFS is as the semantic labeling languge, and Jena is as the main tool, Ontology reasoning and data query are realized in this system.
