The hydraulic turbine governing system is an important component of the hydropower station, and the hydraulic turbine governor is the core of hydraulic turbine governing system. The qualities that the governor performs count for much of the security and economy of the hydraulic turbine generator, even of the electric energy quality and the stability. So, during the production and installation or after the overhauling, it is necessary to test all the performance and characteristics of the governor completely and adjust correlative parameters properly.Because of the advancement of techonology,the new requirement of the hydraulic turbine governing system experiment be asked continuely. In order to design the new software which is safer, more effective, easier to redesign and expand, the paper combines the current situation of the device feature and development tendency of software platform and then presents a solution of the software platform of the hydraulic turbine governing system based on the Microsoft.Net framework. The communication block is designed with the unmanagement code. It collects and displays the data in realtime way, via the effective monitor component.This paper first introduces the background, purpose and meaning of the topic, and inquiries into the development status and technical points of the hydraulic turbine governing device. It next analyzes the requirements of the software platform in detail, including the communication interface, effective monitor component and data assist conduction. In next realize the unmanagement code USB communication block, as the solution of the communication between the computer and the DSP controller.Then it present the designation the monitor component with coordination matrix, advancement of realtime display and drag zoom function. And describe the construction of the data conduction assist block with the serialization of experiment data, separation of the chart in the experiment report and the export of Excel file.The end makes a conclusion of the whole paper, points out the innovations of the software platform, and look into the future of it.
