RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) is a non-contact and instantaneous automatic identification technology. RFID has been considered as a time-and money-saving technology with the speediness and convenience of operation, without artificial intervention for a wide variety of applications, such as object tracking, supply chain management and identity identification. RFID Code Resolution network is a kind of network constructed by RFID and network technologies. It can be regarded as a bridge between the physical network and information network based on the existing Internet. However, the existing RFID Code Resolution is based on the DNS system, whose security capability is limited. This thesis researches on the security issue of RFID Code Resolution network, which has great significance for the public RFID application in China.Firstly,the thesis analyzes the current security threats of the RFID Code Resolution network from both the physical security mechanisms and security mechanisms based on cryptographic protocols, and then introduces the correlative theories of Public Key Infrastructure and DNS Security Extension. Secondly, the public safety issue is further discussed in RFID Code Resolution, and a new solution is brought forward based on DNSSEC. The solution can solve the problem of user certificate authority, the data security in querying and responsing, the security of user information login, and the security of data synchronization among the Code Resolution servers. As a result, the security of RFID Code Resolution is guaranteed. Finally, the thesis introduces the design and implementation of this solution in detail.The authentication, authorization and confidentiality between RFID Code Resolution network components can be accomplished by the existing PKI certificate system. This solution draws lessons from a more mature DNS Security Extention to carry out, both the PKI and DNSSEC are comparatively mature technologies. As a result, this solution will have a better expantion and application in RFID Code Resolution network.
