The Research And Design On Net Fingerprint Recognition System Based On ARM

Along with the higher and higher demand on authorization, the traditional personal matching competence method (Key, Seal, Personal identity card, Password) can't satisfy the people's request on security and reliability. As fingerprint has characteristics such as uniqueness, invariability and inseparability, which make it to a reliable degree, so more and more automatic fingerprint identification system (AFIS) enter into people's life and work.Based on the embedded TCP/IP technology net AFIS,has become a hot spot for its portability,low power and flexible framework.One scheme of the AFIS is to use terminal hardware to complete the fingerprint cllection and fingerprint rerecognition,and send the characteristic code to the server,this scheme has a complicated framework and a large amount of computation ;another scheme is to use cheap MCU to complete the fingerprint figure transmission and transfer the figure to the server directly,this scheme waste the MCU's compute ability and has a high demand on the bandwidth.This thesis give a new resolve scheme which is to complete the pretreatment on the terminal hardware and transter the worked figure to the AFIS server,the server then complete the characteristic distilling and fingerprint matching.This scheme not only use the compute ability of the terminal hardware but also reduce the compute burthen of the server. This thesis mainly introduces a AFIS based on"S3C2410A+ Ethernet +TCP/IP"。This system can do the multi- terminal fingerprint collection and a remote transmission. I implement the pretreatment arithmetic of the fingerprint,I also design the peripheral electrocircuit include power,LCD,keyboard,Flash,Ethernet detailedly. I also introduced the popular Linux System and give the step of repotting the standard Linux to S3C2410A,of course I also give the step of repotting the bootloader U-boot. This AFIS can be used in the occasion that need great capacity fingerprint data.
