The paper studied the drawing and calculation matter of coal preparation flowsheet and developed the CPFICD system. Meanwhile, bringing forward a new design thinking. namely, Drawing and calculation are integrated together. In order to design the whole system better,the process of system's design and some problems were studied and discussed.bringing forward the two design patterns, the dynamic pattern and the overall pattern.Storing some data,for example, equipment parameter and equipment pictures with database,avoiding the data's input repeatly and inquiry, user can get the equipment information by inputing the equipment number, the operation is Simplified, user can add pictures to database, Increasing the system's flexibility, practicality.in a word,the database is the system's Foundation.In order to achieve intelligent computing, the visualization design of the connection graph and the auto-identification of pictures and the rule of line between the equipments is studied.resolving the problems of drawing and line with GDI+ technique; recording the equipment number in the proecss of auti-identification and saving it with array which is prepared for the next algorithm design.The calculation of coal preparation flowsheet refers to the calculation of units which is the base of calculating flow.so, the process and methods of calculation are studied particular, achieving calculation by program. adopting the interactive windows are used to achieve the calculation of units in the dynamic pattern, in order to achieve calculation,the user can make use of the information database or inputing parameter; the system uses calculation modules Automatically in the overall pattern.On the basis of analyzing the characteristic of coal preparation flowsheet,the calculation of coal preparation flowsheet and transformation from the connection pictures to the flowsheet graph are studied.getting an array by auto-identification,then I get the adjacency matrix, correlation array and an array of loop by analyzing the array and designing algorithm,which resolves the most difficult problem of calculating coal preparation flow and make calculation sequentially.The algorithm design from simple to complex,from the overall to individual is the core of the whole system. Simulating the system by taking the jig main separation for example.After the feed information of raw coal is inputed,the equipment connection graph,the product balance table and flowsheet. the system implements the various functions better and resolves the problem of drawing and calculation basically which comes true.
