The Design And Implement Of A Vertical Search Engine Based On Second-filtering

The rapid development of the Internet had led to a geometric growth of information available on the Internet .This has placed enormous stress on efficient information retrieval techniques. The technique of search engine has gained more attention and is being developed rapidly. Although Integrated search engines such as Google, Baidu are very powerful, but it is hard to find the specialized content which is needed by experts when using these integrated search engines. It is necessary to develop a special-purposed search engine to meet the need of searching for within a specific domain.Firstly, the search engine technology is reviewed. Furthermore, the related theories of search engine and skills will be discussed thoroughly before a new solution called second-filtering is presented.Then, the Lucene-based vertical search engine is researched and designed. It is capable of searching for the information of mobile phones in a given website. The product information of mobile phones in the website is analyzed in depth before being filtered and extracted. At the same time, the second-filtering solution is applied in a practical application.
