Design Mobile Game AI Engine

With mobile technology getting more and more mature, AI (Artificial Intelligence) becomes a key factor to decide whether the games succeed or not. It makes the games more real and increase the interaction between the machine and the players. So far the technology of AI applied in mobile games are Genetic Algorithm, Neural Network, Enhancement Type Study and Limited State Machine. As one sort of the popular games mobile games get mature with development of mobile technology and application platform J2ME, BREW. is decreased. However; there is no powerful game developing engine, which severely obstructs the industrialization of mobile games.The AI engine is used to design and develop mobile games. It plays an important role among mobile game engines. It can increase the amusement of the games, depress the develop cost, reduce develop cycle, and decrease venture. Nowadays, more and more exploiters make use of the third party engine. A astronomical engine market has come into being. In this paper, A* algorithm, Agent role-value method, MAS Cooperation and Q-learning are applied to realize the collision detection, path searing, cooperative learning and so on.The RPG AI engine frame is of first important. Firstly, make it realized that the sprite evades bonds and finds the shortest path from the start point to the finish point on the map based on A* algorithm . According to the characteristic of the game, the different sizes of maps are provided for random motion, outline track . The designer can choose from his needs. Secondly, the sprite is classified by Agent role-value method and then Sprite can decide his behaviors in different condition. For example, the sprite can judge and decide to escape or attack in the cases. Finally, sprite can finish the oversimplified mission by MAS Cooperation. It obviously makes the game funny.The experiment results show this method is as effective as expectation. The mobile games have a great high demand for the mobile game engine. The AI engine has the big research space and more researches will be done in the future.
