H.264 is the new generation encoding arithmetic, it has the very good compress trait and quality of recuring image, but complexity of calculating is very high, it is difficult to process the image in time, calculating ability of DSP chip can realized to process signal in time, on the other hand, H.264 can be improved on many aspects of program, if the two can be combined very well, complexity of calculating of the arithmetic will be reduced.Selecting of Intra_predict mode is researched in this paper, according to the higher pertinency of the best microcbock which is encoded in I frame in the airspace, one fast arithmetic of intra_predict mode selecting is put forwarded. The experiment result indicate that this arithmetic can be advanced 30% in the speed of encoding, the encoding quality and encoding efficiency is good basicly.The advanced software model is transplanted and realized by DSP, it can be translated and edited normally on the CCS, the experiment prove that the picture encoded is better in video quality and encoding efficiency, the speed of encoding is improved to some extent, the excuting fast of H.264 arithmetic is realized.
