Research And Implement Of The Personality Sort On Retrieve Results Of The Meta Search Engine

At present the search engine have the problem of redundant information overload and the low coverage of the information on Internet. Developing the personality Meta search engine is an important way to resolve the two problems. The Meta search engine can simultaneously transfer many independent search engines, so the Meta search engine the have higher recall rate. The method of dealing with the retrieval results of Meta search engine personally can improve the efficiency of users retrieve and the quality of the retrieve results.In this paper, a personality sort algorithm based on the retrieve results of Meta search engines is researched and designed. The main idea of the algorithm is that the retrieve results of Meta search engines are divided into different classes using a clustering algorithm after pretreatment. The similarity of user interest model and the characteristics of classes are calculated. According to the similarity, a method of macro-sort is used to rank the classes, and the classes that user interested in determined. A method of micro-sort based on relevance of the retrieve results and the key words used to rank the retrieve results in classes that user interested in. Manners and steps are also introduced.An improved method of extracting text content from web page based on Hyperlinks text analysis is used in the web page pretreatment step of the personality sort algorithm. The concept of macro-sort and micro-sort and the concrete realization process are introduced. An improved clustering algorithm that is used to improve the performance is implemented in the personality sort algorithm.A personality Meta search engine system (PMS) based on the personality sort algorithm is designed in this paper. Modular design is used in the system, and the system has a friendly man-machine interface. The test data of the system is introduced in this paper. Test data and the analysis of the test data shows that the personality Meta search engine system (PMS) based on personality sort algorithm based on the retrieve results of the Meta search engine has ideal recall rate and precision rate, and achieved the purpose of user-friendly search and providing high-quality retrieve results. The system also has many defects, so it must be improved in the future.
