The theories of filter have developed for almost eighty years. Active elements are used to design the operation amplifier RC filter and the current conveyor filter. According to the cascade principle, the high-order filter is designed.AD795 is used to realize the design and simulation of the operation amplifier RC filter, and CDBA is used to realize the current conveyor filter, CDBA is substituted for AD795 to realize the filter. The characteristics of Butterworth filter, Chebyscheff filter, and Bessel filter are analyzed and compared. AD795 is used to design these filters. According to the frequency-selected function of filters, it has four kinds: low-pass filter, high-pass filter, band-pass filter, and band-rejection filter. The low-pass filter can be translated into high-pass filter, band-pass filter can be composed by them. As we known, current conveyor filter belongs to active filter. In the end of the thesis, the current differencing buffered amplifier is used to realize the high-order filter.For the analytical circuits the thesis not only makes the theoretical derivation, but also uses the software of multisim to verify the feasibility and accuracy of the proposed circuits, and the results consistent with the theoties. In different kinds of filters, such as passive RLC filter, operation amplifier RC filter, Switched Capacitor filter, operational transconductance amplitier filter, current conveyor filter, active filter. Active filter is very important, and applied to many circuits. The new active elements are coming forth. Active elements are used to design the filter. The active elements are exchanged to realize the filter will become the mainstream of the future electrical circuit design. The designed circuit will be more perfected, and the function will be more powerful.
