The digitization of oil, water well's premagnetic curve is advantageous to storing, managing, analyzing, sharing and transmitting the precious oil well logging data. The research of premagnetic curve's digitization method not only expands the application domain of the image digitization, but also meets the urgent needs of oil field production. At present, we usually use the digitizing instrument or the overseas arrow quantification software to complete the digitization task of the oil field curves, but the speed is slow and the efficiency is very low. For example, Daqing Oil Field had purchased digitizing software to digitize the oil blueprints, and bought a lot of SUN workstations, consumed massive manpower and physical resources, but finally it only processed a part of the blueprints. Therefore, how to quickly and automatically recognize, extract the premagnetic curve has become a question which urgently waits to be solved. In order to meet the above needs, this article begins the research task of automatically recognizing and extracting the oil, water well's premagnetic curves. According to the characteristics of different premagnetic blueprints, the article proposes the following methods:According to the characteristics of VDL premagnetic blueprints, such as the curves and the back grids overlaps frequently, there are a lot of written words in the picture and the whole picture looks so white and so on, we propose the method what is fit for the digitization of this kind of blueprints. First, we should execute the pretreatment to the blueprints. Next, we extract the information of the back grids. Finally, we complete the task of tracing the curves step by step. At the same time, in order to enhancing the correct extent of the digitization, we also need to guide and adjust the result of the digitization. The key points are as follows: 1.The method that how to eliminate the artificial disturbing information in the pictures; 2.The compress structure of pictures'information what is based on the data structure of LAG; 3.The method of tracing the curves step by step; 4.The algorithm of eliminating the disturbance of the back grids; 5.The algorithm of artificial guiding; 6.The algorithm of adjusting the information of the curves; 7.The algorithm of compensation sampling the information of the curves.According to the characteristics of the CBL premagnetic blueprints, such as the whole picture looks too black, the curves are slurred and so on, we propose the digitization methods including choosing points to trace, choosing points to adjust etc. The methods are also effective to digitize a part of VDL premagnetic blueprints whose vision's quality is bad. We can confirm that the methods achieve the design requirements after doing some experiments.Under the premise of having the digitization function, embarking the angle of"design user-friendly", this article also designs a set of users'help system, concise and useful operating mode enhances the work efficiency very much, it also makes the work much easier.The digitization system of premagnetic curve is designed under the instruction of component oriented method. It uses the mode of"builds the building block"to develop a complete, most superior system. The digitization system of premagnetic curve proposes different digitization methods according to different kinds of premagnetic blueprints. Finally, the system obtains the oil field departments'consistent high praise.
