Image-based rendering technology is the research focus of virtual reality technology in recent years.It overcomes the deficiencies based on the traditional geometry modeling and rendering technology,and obtains the widespread development.Among them, Panorama is the important research content of image-based rendering technology.It can express the integrity environment information,and simulate the observers standing on a fixed viewpoint observe all the scenes information.Now,with the continuous deepening of research,panorama is gradually become the direction of fusion development between the computer vision and the computer graphics.In view of unchanging the viewpoint limitation in panorama,this paper proposed the panoramic technique of pointing fixed-point and conducted the research.The panoramic technique of pointing fixed-point refers to the viewpoint track movement,shoot overlap images,mosaic the images and generate the panoramic image.It is a part of panoramic technique.The generation process in panorama mosaic of pointing fixed-point is the same as fixed-point panorama mosaic.Its generation process is:select the projection modelâ†', obtain the sequence imagesâ†',projection transformationâ†',stitch the images and generate the panoramaâ†'panorama browsing.Among them,the image mosaic technology is the difficulty in the image stitching technology.The panorama pointed fixed-point demanded higher image mosaic algorithm.Therefore,this paper emphatically focuses on image mosaic algorithm.Against RANSAC algorithm applied only to planar image registration, this paper applied RANSAC algorithm to the cylindrical image,and designed a set of cylindrical panoramic image stitching algorithm.The algorithm first used RANSAC algorithm to remove the mistaken matching between the image feature points,and then used the relationship of matching feature points between the two images to resolve the rotation,vertical migration and scaling issues,as well as the crescent defects in cylindrical image mosaic.The experimental results showed that this method can find the correct location of two images overlap,raise the registration accuracy and reduce the error matching probability,relax the photography condition,When photographs the image,it no longer needs to use the tripod fixed camera,and use handheld cameras will be able to finish image mosaic,generate panorama,and the effects are good.
