Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) is a kind of high resolution imaging radar,which has been developed since World War II. It is of high value in military and civil applications.The text introduces the in and abroad development of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) since it exited, views the development and vast foreground in the future.The text firstly introduces the basal theory of air-borne SAR, introduces how to emulate the echo data of SAR, explains the relation between the motions of the plane and different delays for the same object. Then the text introduces the theory of Range-Doppler algorithm, explains how the SAR comes out, high resolution in azimuth region, to achieve high resolution in range region by the method of impulse compression. Finally, the text introduces a more advanced SAR algorithm——Chirp Scaling algorithm. Introduces the basal theory of the arithmetic by the flow.Then, the text introduces the basal theory of missile-borne SAR. Aiming at the situation of missile which is for ship from air, the text introduces the project that SAR technique used for missile control and guide. Then, introduces the high resolution for missile-borne SAR in theory. Finally, explains the key point of missile-borne SAR is to equalize the missile's movements, gets ready for the chapter five.The text uses the SAR echo data of the scene somewhere to emulate and calculates. First, the text uses Range-Doppler algorithm to image relay on the SAR data, validates the validity of the algorithm, and get the image. Second, the text emulates on the Chirp Scaling algorithm, be familiar with the CS algorithm in theory. Then, the text uses CS algorithm to image based on the data, validates the validity of the algorithm, and gets the SAR image. Finally, the text compares the images between RD and CS algorithm, and gets the conclusion that the latter is better.To emulate the missile-borne SAR, the text founds a fly model for missile that from air to ship, and emulates to image in the model. First, the text emulates for one single object, using the correlation method to equalizes the motions and gets SAR images. Second, the text emulates for a few objects, import the key-point distilling method to compensate the motions. Then, the text uses flying data to compensate the motions and compares the effects with the correlation method. Finally, the text emulates for the different sections during the whole fly line, researches on the situation of large corner and the problems exit now.Finally the text concludes all the conclusions get in the text, analyses the capability of all SAR method. Analyses and discusses all the productions in missile-borne SAR.
