At present, China's media group is at the development period of industrialization and group orientation. As the last market-oriented industry of China, we should attach importance to media group's theoretical research and analysis. Especially, we should attach importance to the study and analysis of its core management, financial management.However, I found that there are much research on financial management of state-owned enterprises and little research on financial management of media group currently. Because China's media group has dual properties, the financial management of media group is different from that of state-owned enterprises. The thesis attaches importance to China's media group financial management. Through expounding financial management's special properties of media group, the thesis attaches importance to analyze the status of media group financial management and extracts widespread problems of current media group financial management. The objective existence of these problems is illustrated through case study. After deeply thinking and analyzing, we propose feasible solutions based on related financial management principles for these problems. The thesis is composed of five chapters.Chapter 1: introduction. It mainly expounds the research background and significance, research ideas and methods, and research architecture and innovations.Chapter 2: Summarization of media group financial management. It mainly defines the conception of media group, describe the properties of media group, and summarize the development history of media group.Chapter 3-5 are the core and the innovation of the thesis.Chapter 3: Main problems and causes analysis of China's media group financial management. It stresses that clarification of property rights is the premise of efficient financial management. After concretely analyzing the status of China's media group, we extract the "variance leadership and definition of property rights is not clear" problem in existing system, "fragmentation and financial management dispersion" problem in financial management mode, "financing channel is singularity and funding gap is great" problem in financing, and "unilateral pursuit of scale and prevalence of blind investment" problem in investment.Chapter 4: Through concrete case study of Hunan Radio and TV Group, we illustrate the existence of these problems.Chapter 5: Aiming at these problems, we propose feasible solutions based on related financial management principles. The first solution is completely enterprise. The second solution is to clarify property rights and take a centralized financial management mode. Based on the dual property of media group, the third solution is to take preferred stock financing. The fourth solution is to enhance control and management and take a centralized financial management mode.
