The Design And Implementation Of Online Appointment Registeration System In Hospital

Outpatient appointment registration is a key step which is concerned in the service quality improvement in hospitals. Especially in those general hospitals with high medical skill and huge number of outpatients, crowd in outpatient department is a common phenomenon. Therefore this paper has brought out the concept of hospital online appointment registration system. Patient can make appointment with doctor in hospitals with a couple of clicks on the computer mouse while sitting at home. This has realized the idea of'picking out your doctor at home'and effectively reduced the waiting time of patients. This has also enabled patients to fully understand the hospital and doctors in that hospital. The system can provide better quality service to patients with limited recourses and spaces.The paper has described the requirement of the hospital online appointment registration system based on .net, the design of this system and process of how this system is realized. In the process of requirement, a brief introduction on the current status of hospital outpatient appointment registration was made at the beginning and also focus has been given on analysis and comparison of existing hospital outpatient appointment registration model. Thus conclusion was drawn to take online appointment registration model as a research objective in this paper. Base on the investigation made on hospital outpatient appointment registration system, analysis was made on user's requirements on business process and system functions. This system has developed ASP.NET technology, XML technology and ADO.NET database access technology etc. The paper then has described in details how the hospital appointment registration system is designed and realized. In-depth discussion has also been given on some of the technical difficulties and key technologies in the implementation process. Then from the system safeness point of view this paper has elaborated security design on this system. The paper has also given performance test method on this system.The system has achieved its objectives with strong practicability and satisfactory result. The system need further research. At the same time with the ongoing development of .NET technology, many new designing ideas are applicable in this system.
