Research And Design Of Network Element Management System Based On B/S

In the telecommunication management network (TMN) with five network managements model, network element and network element management level is most important. The network element is the fundamental element of the network, without it, there is no entire network. The TMN management function is precisely supports by the multitudinous network element management system.Therefore, designing and implementing an outstanding network element management system, will have the extremely vital meaning.Traditional network management system is developed nearly based on independent application program,so the network management is run only on some computers installed this application program.This takes many inconvenient to the network element management.It is a very practical significance if the management of netwok is executed by browsers.This set a basis for realizing network management wherever and whenever.Through to the deeply research on Web technology,simple network management protocol and the instanced Quidview Device Manager software,the paper proposes one of the network element management system's designing and realizing method based on B/S.Using SNMP to communicate with network device;by Applet and Servlet technology,realizing the successful link between Web technology and network management technology;solved the dependable communication between applet and servlet by Http.Finally,through to the analysis of Entity MIB and Private MIB,the paper introduces how to contruct the MIB tree model by this two MIB in detail,and realized taking the device's panel to the browser in the form of Applet,and finished configing the device port by the browser.
