Individualized Three-Dimensional Facial Modeling In Games Based On A Picture

It is an extremely challenging subject in the field of computer graphics to rebuild the three-dimensional face models of people. With the development of virtual reality, films and TVs, games and amusement, this research field is paid close attention to more and more by people. This paper is mainly engaged in the research of three-dimensional facial modeling of individualized in multiplayer on-line game.The research includes the following several respects:(1) The prospect of people face modeling application, the current situation of domestic and international research. This paper has analyzed and compared Some modern three-dimensional people face modeling technologies; It put forward a method that only use a single picture of a person's front face to build the three-dimensional face model in multiplayer on-line game;(2) This paper define the characteristic points of the faces of people on the basis of studying the structural characteristic of people's face physiology; And extract some particular data of characteristic points from pictures of face, finally, utilizing 3DMax to setting-up and modify the initial face models;(3) Through matching the three-dimensional face modeling, utilizing OpenGL to rebuild three-dimensional face modeling. Finally, we processed three-dimensional face model with texture mapping, this method can build a lively face model.This paper provided a reasonable method to realize face modeling in multiplayer online games; it can draw a three-dimensional face model in computer screen by choosing a photo and a model, the experiment show that it is a good measure to model in multiplayer on-line games, and get a better display result.
