It is a challenging task in the field of computer science to build realistichuman face models. This task focuses on how to synthesis special human faceefficiently and how to simulate all kinds of naturally faciaI expressions quickly.This paper analyzes the latest developments of the face modeling technology.Having carefully studied and mastered the existing research achievements, thispaper works on the following:. A new algorithm of human face modeling based on block metamorphosisis presented.. An algorithm of smoothing subtle and irregular mesh based on B-BtriangUlar patches is put fOrward.. Based on Blinn's teXture mapping theory, a new algorithm of texturemapping is advanced.. A face modeling system--HDFACES is developed to implement thealgorithms presented in the paper.The result of HDFACES shows that the algorithms are right and the flnallyeffects are good. |
