JDF is not only open and extensible file format based on XML, but also is standard description of the operating summons of the printing industry built on XML.JDF is able to provide a flexible and comprehensive data engine support and process solutions for digital workflow and is used to achieve connectivity of MIS and the printing production control system. JDF is more complete and effective than ever before in the form of a work summons.However, the development and application of the information management software system based on JDF in China are very small. Subject from the perspective of the development of software engineering is based on open standards JDF1.3 with business process management features of domestic printing enterprises. Subject is researched and designed the more common business modules of printing applicable to the majority of small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as the underlying object model of JDF agents. System is able to design a better B/S framework for the development of scalable, flexible printing enterprise MIS software systems.The Study of JDF is still remained in functional and overviewed research and analysis in China.Firstly, the JDF internal structure and operation mechanism are deeply analyzed, and the structure and organization of nodes which are used to describe the production process, resources and resources links are deeply analyzed. This can help our country to follow-up research and develop JDF. Secondly, these research results are applied development of digital MIS management software system of printing enterprises. The underlying object model of JDF agents is built. A lot of JDF objects which are separate responsibilities of high cohesion and Low coupling are designed. These JDF objects are flexible with independent handling (objects are created , found, modified, deleted and so on) and their size is moderate. The object model of operation can promote domestic printing management software to the international standardization, provide development exploration programmer for data-layer and promote JDF the extensive application in Chinese printing industry. In the whole process of software development, software engineering "the UML Use Case Driven Object Modeling" is thought as the guiding principle of system, system pay attention to the Research and Design of architecture and software reusability. Especially in design of the business, relatively common business logic class that includes the same operation of printing business can be design. These business logic classes are the low combine, and interrelated with JDF object class. Business logic layer plays on the interfacial layer and data layer separation role. JDF with the use of standard data formats as the underlying data-driven; the entire system architecture is fine. Data objects and business logic are general. These design concepts, methods and techniques can provide some experience for fast, flexible, and reusable software developers of most small and medium-sized enterprises printing.
