With the development of our society, the recognition system of identification with high efficiency and reliability is becoming a great demand, Human factors is unique, so society pays more closed attention to identity recognition system based on human factors.But fingerprint identification that compares favorably to other biometric identification technology is a identification method.Fingerprint data's collecting is the very important link of fingerprint identify, therefore it is very important to design one kind of fingerprint acquisition which is high speed, convenient and performs well. the design of a fingerprint data acquisition system is shown in the thesis.The system uses embedded technology,fingerprint sensing technology and network transmission technology. First considering insufficiency of current fingerprint acquisition system, it advises the overall design scheme, then the set of hardware platform and software development of system is described in detail. the hardware included fingerprint sensor FPC1011C,fft-S3C2410 development plank and LCD display.in the software aspect, realization of SPI device driver,fingerprint data acquisition, LCD fingerprint image display,and network programing of client and server based onTCP/IP protocol under linux. Finally through debugging, a high speed fingerprint data acquisition is realized.Size of fingerprint image is 152×200 pixel, reading of fingerprint sensor can reach up to 4M pixel/s, remote transmission of fingerprint data through network interface, the feasibility of general design of is verified, further application of the fingerprint identificaiton technology is enhanced.
