The Research And Application Of Extended JUDDI Based On Web Service Dynamic Composition Framework

UDDI (Universal Description, Discovery and Integration) is a set of specifications which is distributed and provides information register centre implementation roles for Web service based on Web. At the same time, it provides a set of implementation specifications for enterprises registering Web service and the Web services registered can be discovered by other enterprises. Now Web service has two kinds of developing trends, one is web services composition, the other is Semantic Web. The former provide effective methods for completing complex Web service. The latter is semantic Web service, which can be automatic explain, exchange and transact by computer. So it is necessary and meaningful to extend UDDI to support web services composition and Semantic Web.JUDDI is an open object of Apache Company, which deploy on Tomcat server and is a Web service information register centre server which obey UDDI specifications. This dissertation does the following work based on JUDDI.(1) It adds domain ontology base and dimension base. Domain ontology base is the basis of registering Semantic Web and searching Web service based on its meaning. Dimension base provide input and output argument dimension exchanging mechanism of Web service.(2) It extends the registering mechanism of JUDDI. It adds semantic information to Web service when it is being registered.(3) It extends the searching mechanism of JUDDI. It provides querying Web service by its meaning.(4) It provides the support for Web service dynamic composition engine. It support composed Web service registering and provides the candidate service by its meaning.This dissertation takes the further discussion on the key technologies of extending JUDDI and completes the function of JUDDI-EXTENTION (JUDDI-X for short) system based on JUDDI.At last this dissertation establishes a coal domain ontology base, extracts several Web services from the project Coal Quality Management Information System (CQMIS) and register those Web services into JUDDI-X system to verify the register and query functions of the system.
