With the rapid development of microwave vacuum devices in our country, many development departments of information Arms and Equipments urgently need new cermet attenuator materials, whose performance directly affects the performance level of microwave devices.The cermet attenuator material is a kind of AlN (Al2O3) /Mo(W) cermet material. It is vital to explore manufacturing techniques, research on structure and performance of material, inspect material structure and manufacturing techniques in relation to performance. Main technical contents include the determination of material structure of cermet attenuator, the study of quantity on starting powders size, metal, Ceramics, sintering aids, etc., and the influence of forming, parameters of sintering process on microwave absorbing parameters of attenuator material.Rough set theory, as an effective tool of dealing with imperfect information, is a new method of separate mathematics reasoning. It can reduce data and figure out the minimum intellectual representation under the premise of retaining key information only according to information provided by data themselves without any supplementary information. And thus establish decision rules; find out tacit knowledge in given data.This paper mainly do research on system analysis of various property parameters based on rough set theory, from which sorts out the independent relationship of parameter properties, simplify the screening of the parameter data, optimize theoretical system of attenuator material and sum up the more optimized manufacturing techniques of attenuator material. We attempt to explore the application of the concrete practice of rough set theory. The results of the study is extended to apply to the analysis of microwave absorbing material, the study on reliability of cathode in traveling-wave tube and the reliable technology of space traveling-wave tube, etc.
