An intelligent system on line-patrolling and line-checking,which is applied in property management,the security detection on depot and factory,power circuit inspection,pipe laying and the field device,fire state exploration in the foresty center,river quality inspectionis and the frontier patrolling,the management system of automated information. The system utilizes the modernized and the scientific method of management and examination,adopts the wired or wireless communication mode,carries on processing to the gathering information through the combination of database and network technique,then scientific, standardization and automated management of the line-patrolling and line-checking can be realised.Information Collection(Insepection)is a fundamental component of the an intelligent system on line-patrolling and line-checking.The pros and cons of it' s performance have a direct impact on the completeness, accuracy and the validity of the management system.Based on the analysis of current state and the trend of the software and hard ware development and the probe into the techniques of the Fingerprint Identification and Radio Frequency Identification,the paper presents a proposal of the inspector design with auto-identification to personnel' s fingerprint.Combined with eight high speed CM(single-chip microcomputer) C8051F340 as the central processing unit chip,the Inspector constitutes of automatic fingerprint identification,radio frequency Identification, liquid crystal display,keyboard input,SD/USB reading and writing, power supply and other peripheral electric circuits.To realise the functional parameter that is required,corresponding software programme to the each hardware circuit is designed.Furthermore,to realise the prompt transmission of information from the inspection,two kinds of feasible transmissions in long-distance have been proposed.It is testified that this portable inspection tour instrument can realize necessary functions that we need,such as message identification to personnel' s fingerprint,information acquisition on pesonnel and location of patrolling and checking,and the file storaging,reading and sending.By utilizing the serial interface of RS-232,the system can realize data communication and transfer the data,collected in patrolling and checking and stored in the database,into the local computers safely. And then the outcomes will be funneled into database,thus the historial data search,result statistic,data report print and the other functions can be realized.The test result of prototype had proven this design proposal's feasibility,simultaneously also showed it has great significance to the refinement of the intelligent system on line-patrolling and line-checking after the futher development.
