| The independent institute of university is a new form of running school which appears in our higher education reform. Since 2001, independent institutes have obtained a great swift and rapid development. With expanding of the scale of study programs the recruitment of students also increased unceasingly. Therefore, the management of independent institutes is serious challenge. Because the management of students is the core of the management, it is essential for independent institutes to raise the informationization level of student management.Based on the Science and Technology College of Nanchang University, according to the current situation of the management system existed in various department and the requirement of students management, this thesis put forward the guiding principle which takes the existing teaching management system,financial management system and other management information system as the basic data source, which sets the management and enquiry of students all-around information as its goal by using the guideline of information integration and data integration.The thesis uses object-oriented method to go deeply into the function and data requirement of the Student Management Information System (SMIS), and its relationship with the information system doing the correlative business on a complete analysis of the student management system and other correlative functional department; Additionally, it builds a integration model giving a precise description of the relation between the target system and other correlative department management systems, specifying relevant information from related systems in order to meet the need of student information management service in independent institutes; what's more it builds a system function model, giving a precise description of the functional need of SMIS, and giving a detailed description of the systemic function model by means of user-case models, class and object models; it also builds a systemic data model describing the data's integration characteristic, the data source, the data storage and so on. Based on the idea of human-centered the thesis states deploy models of system taking the characteristics of user, the safety of systems and other factors.The thesis not only thoroughly discusses the system design strategy, but also discusses distributed database design as the system data organization, and furthermore discusses the option of technical application and security problem of the system. It proposes the system architecture by using Java component technology as system's key technology and role management as safety control. Finally, it gives a detailed description of the interface design principle of the system and other adopted technology. |
