Inertial Navigation Systems have found many applications in aircrafts and ships. Inertial Device Test and Evaluation Platform can test the inertial device's characteristic data, which can be used to build models and evaluate the device and make compensation for the device, thus the Inertial Navigation System's performance can be improved.Model building subsystem and evaluation subsystem are discussed for the Inertial Device Test and Evaluation Platform. The model building subsystem uses the inertial device's characteristics data to establish static models, dynamic models or random models so that suitable compensation algorithms can be selected for the device. Different evaluation methods are used to evaluate the device's performance according to various standards. It is presented that the design and implementations of GUI interfaces for the two subsystem, curves drawing and multi-threaded modules.A Simplified Air Opposition Simulation System based on HLA (High Level Architecture) is designed and implemented on the background of air defense and attacking. Air opposition's tactics models and the plane and missile's mathematics models have been built. Based on these models, the federation's object classes and interactive classes are designed. Each federation object includes plane platform module, Human-Computer Interaction module, radar module and air-to-air missiles. A detailed introduction is given to the air-to-air missile guidance module based on inertial navigation system.Inertial Device Test and Evaluation Platform is running well and easy to use. Through the simplified simulation system, the design and implementation of air opposition simulation system based on HLA have been initially completed; also the prototype of the air opposition simulation system has been built.
