Design And Prototype Implementation Of Single Sign-On System

Single sign-on (SSO) technology is a specialized form of authentication that enables a user to authenticate once and gain access to the resources of multiple services in distributed network. SSO is still in researching stage, especially in the convergence of access authentication and services authentication.In the dissertation, the background of our research is firstly introduced. Then the current research status in Internet, especially the .Net Passport and the liberty alliance, is introduced. Then a solution for the CNGI universal services platform is proposed by the requirement and a prototype is designed to verify the solution. Finally correctness of the solution is verified by systematic test.This paper is separated into six chapters. Chapter one introduces the research background and main work accomplished during the paper writing process. In chapter two, the .Net Passport and the liberty alliance SSO technology , which are used in Internet, are introduced. In chapter three, the solution for the CNGI universal service platform is proposed. The chapter four illustrates the design of prototype for the solution. The chapter five based on the listed testing results, the correctness of the system is verified. Finally, further work is summarized.
