With rapid development of internet technology and application, web services as a kind of component deployed on the internet has the excellent capabilities of well-encapsulation, loose-coupling and cross-platform. So, it has already been the focus of current research. Recently, as there are more and more services appearing on the internet, single web service cannot satisfy all the user requirements. Thus, it's very necessary to make the existing web services composed together and work for the new functions desired by users. In the process of web services composition, it is an imperative task to study how to effectively find the related web services for the composition with user information, and how to improve the efficiency of the web services composition.With the collection and analysis of user information, this paper presents a heuristic web services composition strategy based on the user preference. This strategy can analyze the potential information which could be provided by users. So it's very helpful to lessen the times of human-machine interaction and reduce the cost of web services composition, then the suitable result of web services composition will be found quickly. At the same time, this strategy can abstract those results of web services composition into many templates. The similar user requirement can be handled quickly when using those templates. It's a great improvement for the efficiency of web services composition.According to this strategy, this paper provides a solution to facilitate the design and realization of web services composition system. This system has been designed with a loose-coupling architecture, in order to change different strategy of web services composition more flexible. Compared with other strategy of web services composition, the experiment results show that the heuristic web services composition strategy based on the user preference has a higher success ratio, a shorter average time and a less human-machine interaction times in the process of web services composition.
