With the development of digital technology, the use of digital products has spread to variety areas. These digital products bring convenience to people's life, yet, are easy to be copied and distributed. In daily life, activities pirating digital copyright generally involve illegal reproduction and distribution, using without authorization and illegal alteration of digital products, all these activities highlights the necessity for the producers to take effective measures to protect their digital products from such activities.Traditional encryption and decryption technologies succeed to protect the content for digital products to certain extent. Yet, in regards to new developments in computer technologies, those traditional measures are not as reliable.DRM (Digital Rights Management) is to ensure that digital products can only be used by authorized people in authorized way and period by controlling each stage like distribution, use for those products with relevant technologies.This paper, on the basis of theorem of DRM and existing DRM solution, from the point of view of software re-engineering, re-design a DRM solution combining encryption/decryption technology and network security technology , bases on the open source DRM solution OpenIPMP。At the beginning, this paper introduces technologies and protocols. Then it introduces existing solutions. Afterwards, this paper would analyze the function of OpenIPMP and key technologies. In chapter 4, this paper would introduce the re-design of DRM solution bases on the OpenIPMP, including some function module. At last, the paper discusses problems encountered in design and implementation of this system and the risks and problems existed in this system as well.
