Electric circuit is not only an important hardware foundation courses, but also closely related of application,its theory and method of application is changing with the development of the devices.The purpose of study EDA experiment development system subject is to provide a test platform for in-system programmable device.This experimental system suits beginners to learn digital circuit verification experiment,also adapts to logical designers,allowing fully self-design.Universities can use it in electric circuit and logic circuit design as experimental tool,and can be used agility in the follow-up experiments.Workers also can use it study.We choice EDA experiment development system as the subject,it's better to learn advanced EDA technologies.To fit the device of all PLD companies of the world,the system is designed as "motherboard+ download board" two-tier structure,Change different model download board can adapt with other company's products,accommodate all academy's teaching needs.The research is EDA experimental system which based on FPGA/ CPLD.It uses VHDL hardware description language,MAX+plusⅡsoftware development tools,Altera's FPGA as the carrier and uses top-down design ways.The experiment Board provides input and output, display and power,and other external circuit.Designed experimental procedure of circuit and EDA Training.It provides a convenient platform of experiments for circuit beginners.In addition,we have done some large and medium-scale experiment design,can lead students to lean logic design.The purpose of The EDA experiment development system is to improve the level of design.So the main contents of study are:using this experimental system achieve digital logic circuits and through digital logic circuits to design large and medium-scale system.We designed some experiment,include:combination logic circuit,sequential logic circuit,the state machine and a few large-scale digital system.The papers takes the example of All-Canadian and decoding display explained methods of text input and graphics input.The system designed all combination of logic and sequential logic circuits experimental procedures and done the simulation,showed the basic structure of two state machines,in the end we designed and experimented the LED16×16 dot matrix controller,digital clock,digital frequency meter,intellectual answer machine,electronic password lock, controller of traffic lights,electronic organ circuit and the three-tier elevator controller design;offered all the original code and simulation waveform.
