Campus Network Performance Analysis And Research Based On The Nature Of Traffic

Network performance analysis is an important tool in the Network Planning. It plays an important role in enhancing the quality of the internet, improving network efficiency and providing Outstanding Quality management for internet. Because the target users of campus network are with high intellect and the use of it is of high frequency and wide range, a high-quality network performance is needed, so the campus network performance analysis with clear target or objective will become the new ideas of campus network improvement. Besides, the nature of campus network traffic analysis also has an important significance in understanding and forecasting operations for the campus network.Starting with the nature of the campus network traffic, this paper takes GuangXi University campus network as research platform. Through the analysis of the status of campus network, this paper constructs related traffic capture theory, further discusses and researches the impact of the self-similarity, burst, agreement features etc. of the traffic, and puts forward the idea and method of realizing performance analysis based on the nature of traffic.In addition, based on the performance analysis results, this paper establishes the forecast model of traffic, whose feasibility has already been proved by experiment, and then establishes the warning mechanism of abnormal traffic, which expects to detect abnormal traffic in time and fix network breakdown, and put forwards the performance optimization methods of campus network, which is illustrated from optimization of traffic and agreement of campus network.
