With the development of modern automobile increasingly, the electronic devices of automobile increase rapidly, which brings the higher requirement on vehicle integrated wiring and information sharing. Field Bus becomes more and more important in electron and electrical systems. With well operation performance, high reliability and low cost, CAN (control area network) has got more and more wide attention. It is gradually popularization in vehicle control systems, and recognized as one of the most developmental foreground field bus.In the base of researching CAN bus protocol and its application layer protocol SAE J1939, and analyzing fuel cell vehicle drive system and its controller operation characteristic, the network collectivity layout has been designed through reference J1939 protocol principle to design CAN communication message identifier in this paper. By analysis the localization of CAN bus and its real time capability, communication protocol, which is compatible with CAN bus and J1939, is drawn out through ameliorate CAN bus transport layer.Base on the research of communication protocol, hardware design and software program of vehicle management system via are finished in this paper. Driver program, application programming interface and multitask application are designed on the platform of embedded operation system, while the software of CAN communication scheduling algorithm is realized in this paper.
