Ultrasonic imaging is one of the four contemporary medical imaging technologies. Compared with other medical imaging technologies, ultrasonic imaging has a lot of advantages, including cheapness, real-time, non-damage, non-radiation, reproducibility and high sensitivity. Ultrasonic imaging plays enormous action in clinical diagnosis and scientific research. Ultrasonic image and text management system is a synthesis system, which offers the functions of collection, storage, display and management of ultrasonic images by computer, and offers the combination of image and text information of patient, and is a very active subject in the field of medical imaging at present. The image processing functions of the current ultrasonic image and text management system only have image enhancement, annotation, measurement and rotation. Having no image segmentation function obstructs the development of automatic quantitative analysis of ultrasonic diagnosis. The research of this thesis is carrying out under that background. A computer-aided analysis system of medical ultrasonic image has been designed and realized. In order to improve the efficiency and rationality of the system in our research, we have had an exhaustive preparation for professional knowledge and technology, including discussing the current ultrasonic image and text management system and analyzing its shortcoming of image processing particularly, studying the imaging mechanism and image properties of B-ultrasound, and having experiments in ultrasonic image using gray level transformation, histogram equalization, median filter and threshold segmentation. The computer-aided analysis system of medical ultrasonic image which has been designed and realized in this paper is based on human-computer interaction and local operation. In this system, multistage median filter, histogram equalization and iterative threshold segmentation are used to accomplish the enhancement and segmentation of ultrasonic image. The contour of target has been drawn, and the result of automatic quantitative analysis has been given. All these can promote the development of ultrasonic diagnosis level and are helpful to perfect the ultrasonic image and text management system. We hope that we can do some thing to the development of informatization in medical and health field in our country.
