Design And Implementation Of ENUM Mechanism For IP-PBX

This content of the thesis is research on ENUM mechanisms for IP-PBX. In recent years, with the rapid development of business communications, the IP-PBX, in particular the embedded IP-PBX with its ease of use, cost-effective, and other characteristics is widely used SMEs.However, with the increasingly use of IP-PBX, the communication between IP-PBXs of different SMES is urgent need to resolve. At present, the intercommunication of IP-PBXs mainly use VoIP registry. There are two registry forms: mutual registration between IP-PBXs and registration for VoIP trunks. The registration has its obviously defects such as difficult to maintain. Particularly with the development of business between enterprises, there is an urgent demand for a good mechanism to solve the safety and efficient intercommunication between IP-PBXs problems.Under the Xnode IP-PBX background, this thesis analyzes the addressing technology ENUM and embedded IP-PBX features, and accordingly figures out the ENUM mechanism, which can solve the address problem between IP-PBXs. And we also propose the CA based on ENUM, which can provide technical support for authentication and security in VoIP.First of all the thesis introduces the core technologies for ENUM mechanism, including ENUM related protocols, ENUM registration protocol and ENUM service registration protocol, research on ENUM security and privacy, and dynamic authentication techniques. Then the characteristic of communication between IP-PBXs is studied, and the model of ENUM mechanism is proposed. After that detailed description about ENUM service registration, ENUM query and incoming/outgoing calls is launched. And in implementation chapter, it elaborates detailed implementation from data structure and source code.Finally, the thesis presents the result of test and conclusion, the further work.
