In recent years,the channel coding technologies of resisting the fading of the channel effectively and the space-time coding to advance the capacity of the channel have a fast development,which have become hot spots in the field of wireless communications.Convolutional code is a kind of channel coding technology which has good performance and can provide coding gain,and space-time coding combines the technology of multi sending antenna with the processing of signal in the receiving end for improving the information rate,combining the two can reach the capacity of the channel.The paper researches the convolutional code and space-time coding,and related issues of concatenated.Firstly,this thesis elaborates on the basic concept of convolutional code and various describing methods,and makes a deep research in the principle of convolutional code encoding and decoding,on these basis,the method of constructing non-primitive convolutional code is given.According to the simulation,the curve of performance over Rayleigh fading channel in single-input single-output(SISO)system is also given.Secondly,this thesis analyzes the characteristics of wireless channel,and integrates three typical fading channel models,based on which,the discussion of the characters of the channel of MIMO system is made and led to a channel model of the space-time decoding algorithm.Thirdly,this thesis researches the algorithm of space-time decoding in MIMO system deeply,and discusses three principles of space-time decoding algorithm. On these basis,this thesis concatenates convolutional code with space-time coding. According to the simulation,the analysis and comparison of non-primitive convolutional code and space-time decoding performance,convolutional code and space-time decoding concatenation performance given in 3GPP standard,are completed.Finally,this thesis summarizes the problems that exist in the research,and makes a clear direction for the future research.
