P2P technology has been widely used so far. Because of its character of extensive information resources sharing, which determines its inherent adaptability to E-commerce system, the E-commerce systems that are based on P2P environment have developed very fast. E-commerce system has a high requirement of security, and thus whether its security mechanism is efficient becomes the key problem to a P2P E-commerce system. Since the current studies of P2P system mainly focus on trust management, so how to set up an efficient, accurate and stable trust management mechanism is issue the researchers in this area concern with.Reputation-based trust mechanism can effectively recognize malicious users and thus stop their hazardous behavior. However, existing reputation-based trust mechanisms of P2P e-commerce systems have problems in correctness, computational method of trust value and resistance to attacks, which are listed below: (1)The one-sided measurement of trust. (2)The weak resistance to attacks. (3) High computational costs and communication costs. (4) The ignorance of difference between credibility of behavior and credibility of rating.Against these problems, in this paper a novel rating quality model is proposed, which first can distinguish peer's rating behavior accurately, and then a novel reputation-based trust mechanism for P2P e-commerce system is presented which has high accuracy and ability to resist malicious attacks. This paper focuses on the aspects below:1. Focus on how to give reasonable ratings. It mainly concerns how to integrate various factors related to rating and to give reasonable ratings.2. Establishing rating quality model. It mainly focuses on how to quantify trust factors which influence rating and how to establish this model, and then it analyzes the validity of this model.3. Establishing reputation-base trust model. It mainly focuses on how to quantify trust factors which influence reputations and how to establish model of reputation, and then it analyzes the validity of this model. 4. Improve trust model. It mainly focuses on the ways to calculate the trust between nodes which are in different node group.5. Trust-aware Searching in P2P e-commerce systems. It mainly focuses on effective peer organization and searching peers using trust data.To sum up, through theoretical analysis and experiments, it is shown that our trust mechanism can be effectively applied to P2P E-Commerce systems with good performance.
