Process Execution And Exception Handling In Smartflow Pattern

With the development of network resource in China, the number of people using internet is increasing fast. With internet, people not only do some basic operations, such as browsing web pages and sending and receiving emails, but also trade online by card payment, which makes e-business becoming popular and springing up with growing market shares.The appearance of Web service provides the way to communicate automatically among companies, which improves the helping ability of web applications for users, and promotes the development of e-business from static to dynamic. By corresponding with, organizing and calling web service from different providers, web applications can provide more powerful functions to users. Generally speaking, following the process to organize, various web applications can satisfy the complicate and personal needs of people, and organize each web application efficiently to make the most of them.Therefore, in the environment of service-oriented internet, a more intelligent, more flexible, smarter flow pattern is required eagerly. We adopt a new flow pattern—Smartflow Pattern. Different from the traditional flow mode, Smartflow pattern is automatically generated according to user's needs; the finisher of the processes is not the assigned service, but the service selected automatically by users with their needs, which is personalized. Then, new characters come from the executing procedure of a flow and the disposing way of the exception in the executing procedure.In this paper, at first the author analyzed the execution of process in the traditional workflow model and handling method of exceptions during the execution. Based on this analysis, the author designed a framework of friendly execution of process in the Smartflow Pattern, and a more practical method of service evaluation. This friendly execution framework could enable user interaction during the execution of the process, which could make the users feel friendly of the execution. And it could also make the execution of process easier to be monitored by the system. Concerning to the evaluation method, it could evaluate and record the information of the tasks that the service finished, based on the execution of the process. With this evaluation method, the system could swiftly find new proper services for the process when exceptions occurred during the execution.
