Research On IPv6 Firewall Technology

To great extent, along with fast developed internet, the traditional technology of IPV4 has many problems which restrict the spread application and manage of internet. These problems manifest themselves in the short of address space, the oversize router table, complicated manage and config of net and the bad security. To great extent, the IPv6 technology settles many existed problems of net. But IPv6 still has a bad security.The paper refers to the address format of IPv6 head format of UDP plug and play IPv6 and some problems of IPv6 transition. The working security ability of IPSec (security system structure of IPv6) and the realization mode of IPSec are analyzed in detail in this paper. This paper discusses the AH and ESP of IPSec. The confidentiality of IP message the authentication of data source and integrality ability of IPSec are discussed in this paper. This paper analyzes the new characteristics of IPv6, and concludes some new problems of IPv6 and the possible means of the attackers and indicates the crisis binged out by IPv6 technology in security tools.Based on the problems above, this paper brings forward network firewall mechanism in pure IPv6 circumstance and discusses the system structure of this mechanism (mainframe shield structure). This paper brings forward my own standpoint of the working and filtration mechanism of filtration firewall. The fort mainframe aims at the filtration and disposal of the data of IPSec mechanism. This paper validates the mechanism above by simulating the network attack working of pure IPv6 circumstance.
