Nowadays, the modern education mode, e-Learning, which based on the computer network technology and information science, has developed rapidly and been used widely. In the e-Learning researches, the adaptive personalized learning technology is the key point. Personalized learning emphasizes on adapting the different learning requirements and learning features of different individuals. Traditional researches on personalized learning mainly started with the teaching and imparting artificial intelligence, the matching of the learners' models and the analyzing of the learning behavior features. Although these modes took enhancing the system intelligence as their goal, they put the learners in a passive position, ignoring the learners' subjective initiatives, which caused the problem; lots of current personalized learning systems conducted the learners without flexibility and could not meet the different learners' requirements.E-Learning system should take full usage of the modern science technology to reflect the developing teaching theory, and does not simply mean the traditional education mode computerization. The present influential teaching theories, which seem to transmit the different teaching thoughts, supply a variety of choices to build the e-Learning system with different teaching modes. This article concludes the common teaching thoughts after inducing and collating the Confucianism teaching opinions, constructivism theory and multiple intelligence theory, which also finds the corresponding teaching theory foundation for the choice of e-Learning system education mode.It is not easy to realize the teaching theory in e-Learning system. In order to achieve such goals to some extent, we have to find a breakthrough point. This article focuses on building adaptive study system researches, mainly solves the problem on how to make the learners and the learning materials being mutually adapted, such adaptation should be based on that of taking the learners as focus and reflect the differences among different individuals. This article gives the concept of learning paths, and also explores deeply on how to build learning paths by using data mining technology and how to realize the learners and learning materials adapted by using learning paths.
