The background of the work presented in this dissertation is the research project on Unmanned Aerial System Group Network Architecture, the paper to be the focus of the research is unmanned aerial's MAC layer of the network. Unmanned aerial with more high speed mobility than the ordinary object, it usually works in a hostile space, where the working environment is very complex. Unmanned aerial uses Mobile Ad hoc network that is not with the infrastructure. In this paper, the author analyzed the Ad hoc network's MAC layer, and did a certain amount of the work. The author's research work and the specific contribution include:A. As the unmanned aerial's network is based on Mobile Ad hoc network, the unmanned aerial's MAC layer has the same problems with Ad hoc. The most important issue of ad hoc is the hidden terminal problems and the exposed terminal problem, and wireless network's performance and efficiency has been greatly reduced (the ability to send the packet can not send data, and the ability to receive the packet can not receive data), it is bound to cause the great waste of the resources. This paper is derived by mathematical and theoretical analysis to identify the original single-channel's and dual-channel's shortcoming, and puts forward a new improved dual-channel method to adapt for different communication's purposes, in particular for unmanned aerial network.B. Through the integrated performance analysis and the mathematical derivation of the dual-channel, the author presents two dual-channel MAC layer improvement , and analyzes their characteristics. By comprehensive analysis of two dual-channel improvement, chooses a kind of dual-channel method to be integrated improvement, and presents two kind of back off algorithm and the new Busy Tone setting manner. C. Finally, through the simulation platform (NS2), gets the data of dual-channel protocol which redefines unmanned aerial Network Architecture, and analyzes and researches.
